Combining her expertise as a musician, writer, performer with her experiences as a scuba diver, freediver, open water swimmer and activist, Em is prolifically writing material about a range of ocean and environmental issues. Her full 90-minute show DIVE showcases this work. If you are an environmental organization and would like an element of music or performance at your event, Em offers a range of options. DIVE itself can be adapted to fit multiple venues, time limits and scales. With solo performer and 3-piece band, it can be performed on a small cabaret stage, or a larger theatre. Thus far, the show has performed at both cabaret venue Crazy Coqs, as well as large-scale theatre, Charing Cross Theatre. Its next stop is The Green Room 42 in New York City. The show is also flexible in timing, with a full theatrical version at 90 minutes, cabaret at 60-75 minutes, and smaller segments of as little as 3 minutes (single song) available.

Em is currently performing at a number of topic-specific events with individual songs relating to specific subjects such as plastic pollution or shark protection. Both these smaller scale performances and the full-scale show are available for booking.

Additionally, Em is available to write to brief; if you have a subject matter which is not already in her repertoire, she is able to write an original piece for your event or campaign. Em writes music in many genres, having written for film, musical theatre and other artists. She has written for both pop and jazz artists, and is available as a co-writer as well as full songwriter. For co-writing situations, Em can assist with all aspects of composition, including lyrics, melody, instrumentation and production, depending on the client’s needs. As a songwriter, Em has written for others in styles including pop, rock, jazz and musical theatre, and has written to brief many times. Additionally, Em’s body of work is available for license for projects.

Em also composes stunning piano scores for film, theatre and other work, and works with Moxy Bros on larger scale film scores.

Em teaches piano, singing, songwriting and performance technique to a wide range of students. She works with students of all ages and all levels. Her varied background allows her to offer tuition in most styles and she particularly enjoys tailoring her lessons to meet the individual’s needs. Em places particular emphasis on working with students on confidence, expression and using music, vocalizing and writing as a means to express oneself and connect more deeply. Music For Peace is an intuitive sound healing experience. Working with both individuals and groups, the sessions include brief discussion, guided meditation, then followed by a wholly improvised piano treatment based on the energy in the room, the feelings the client has stated the desire to express, and the interconnected flow of music and emotion. Em is available to hire as a pianist and keyboard player. As a session musician, she has recorded for artists including Oscar winner Tony Kaye and has worked on a number of sessions for a variety of commercial and personal work. She is also available to hire for live shows for other artists, events, weddings and conventions. She performed weekly at boutique LA hotel Petit Ermitage for 3 years, and was resident pianist for the Duke and Duchess of Rutland among countless other piano performances since the age of 5. Em is available to hire as a vocalist for studio work, live shows and events. Jazz, rock, alternative, pop, indie, musical theatre, voiceover and acting are all available. Em has worked as a session vocalist for a number of artists and commercial projects.

Em is a proficient editor, having edited a number of her own music videos, trailers and short films. Em’s musical expertise allows her to have a particularly keen ear and eye for editing. Her technique is especially well suited to music videos, musical shorts and trailers featuring music. See:.
